My 2004 2wd Ram 2500 came stock with 17 inch wheels but i would prefer 16 inch wheels due to a better tire selection and price. So will 16's fit?

1999 chevy 1500 w/ 5.3 liter v8 4x4...reg cab long bed...how much power does this engine have? is it significantly more than the 350's had? I know it's a "scissors" jack, I know that it lifts one side of the car at a time, I know where it fits underneath the car, but it doesn't go up!!! How do I get it to make the car go up? I had a flat today and a friend had to use their jack because we couldn't make the VW jack go up.

I was quoted $685+ at the dealer for this 1/2 day checkup. How necessary is this if I am having no trouble. I will have the checkup if necessary but it seems like a lot of money to put out to change some fluids etc and look things over...Thanks in advance for any opinions..

My Honda surges when my foot is off the pedal, my shifter is locked up and has to be manually unlocked everytime I turn the car on, my cruise control doesn't work, and my back lights won't turn off unless I get under my dashboard and hold in a button....any advice before I take her into the shop?
