i have a f-150 and resently my wipers went out, i know is not a fuse, the relay or the switch because i changed them all out but i also have problem with the dome light and the temp gauge the seem not to work i think i have a problem somewhere where they all meet

I have an eleven year old honda civic who has been sticking some kind of tool to jam open my hood from the side. The person who has been working on it has created a wide gap. To me, there's no point in trying to break into my car the way this mysterious individual or two was doing, but why do thieves try and break into other people's car? Why can't they car shop by the legal way?

I bought a 2005 Chevy Aveo a few months ago because it was supposed to get excellent gas mileage (27 city/35 highway). Well I've been keeping track for the past two months and I'm only getting 21-24 miles per gallon. What the heck?

I drive it smoothly and put quality brand gas and I drive about half highway and half city, so I should be averaging more than 30 mpg.

It's still under warranty so I took it to the dealership and they can't find anything wrong with it. There was a recall for my car that had something to do with the fuel system but their records show that the previous owner already had the work done. It still has a bumper-to-bumper warranty so if you have any suggestions I can have the dealership try it.

The only reason why I bought the car was because of its gas mileage. I'd rather be driving a pickup with this kind of gas mileage! I feel like going back to the dealership and shoving my Aveo up their butt!

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I need to buy so many parts for my jeep to turn it into a real rock crawler... the problem is my job doesnt pay enough and i cant find a better job im still in shcool will be 18 in a few days i need a lot of money i want my jeep to be better than my friends its kinda like a competition to see who can have the best jeep and faster.... so if anyone has any ideas on how to earn lots of money quick with not a lot of work it would be greatly apreciated.;

i have a 2003 F-250 superduty the drivers side axle shaft broke ( the part between the 4x4 hub and the U-joint in the steering knuckle) from the U-joint to the differential is fine. Does anyone know where i can get a new or used end shaft? FoMoCo wants 197.50 for it. any ideas on where to get it cheaper

I have a 1991 Nissan Sentra GXE 1.6L Manual Transimission 4 speed four foor. My tire went flat maybe two weeks ago and I have been using my spare because I am broke and can't get another tire. About two days ago my car started thumping and we figured out by switching the tire to the back that it was the tire. We also concluded that it got warped from driving on it so long. Here is the problem, we noticed on the front drivers side (where the tire was located) that the CV half shaft had a slit in the rubber cover that goes over it. It is located right by the tire. My BF says that we need to replace the whole thing, but I was wondering if there was some type of patch kit or even replacement cover. He told me that if I keep driving it, a pebble or something else could get in there and lock up my tire. So here are my questions....

My 2001 Nissan Maxima's IACV went out, which resulted in me sputtering and dying while at a stop light. The car isn't new (it just hit 102,000), but has been in excellent condition. I took it to the dealership, which was only 3 blocks from where I died, instead of my mechanic, who was over 20 miles away. The dealership claimed they needed to replace the IACV, which could have resulted in the ECM not taking the relearn code for the new part. This happened, and they claimed that I then needed to buy a new ECM from them as the two parts work in conjunction with each other. This didn't make sense to my mechanic, nor to another Nissan dealership I called to see if this made sense. Does anyone have any ideas? Is this normal? The first dealership claimed they had seen this on approximately 8 cars in the last 2 years and about 1/2 of those needed new computers. This seems highly suspect to me.

I find myself without a truck for the first time in many years. I used to work for GM so I was always the loyal buyer. That's no longer the case. My concerns relate to headroom in the ranger, I'm well over six feet tall and does the 6 cylinder kill you on gas, 3.0L or 4.0L?
And if anybody can give me a real assessment of the F-150 in general. Thanks, I know this was kid of long-winded.
