I have around a grand to spend on my 2000 v6 mustang. I was wondering if i should spend it on improving looks or under the hood?

PT will go forward but not in reverse. I can't go travel 10 mph. There was no warning of a transmission problem. I just drove it to Dallas and back with no problems. This evening I heard and felt a jerk in the front end on the Tollway, still no problem decreasing or increasing speed. Suddenly the trasnsmission went out 2 miles later down the tollway in stop and go traffic. I checked the fluid level and the stick was dry. I added 2 qts of ATF+4 Transmission fluid and the car could move but couldn't back up. Can't go over 10 MPH. Clacking sound came from the transmission I pulled over and stopped. Is there a problem with PT Treansmissions? If so what can we do?

i've looked everywhere...kbb & all the others it seems & no one has anything pre-1980. we just got this, it's a 1979 cadillac seville elegante with electric everything, most of which still works (exept the pass. rear window wont go down) it used to have the diesel engine, but now has a 305, 3 speed auto. little surface rust. anybody know if/where i can find out how much it's worth, or anyone know ?

i only have 4.75 volts going to fuel pump. i have checked the fuel pump relay and the auto shutdown relay. they both work when i put power to them. i also replaced the main ground wire going to engine and the ground going to chassis. still not enough power going to fuel pump. i checked the fuses in the power dist. center under hood they are all good. so is there anything else that i can check for like fusible lins or etc... all all help would be greatly appreciated.

Recently I had an oil change done on my 98 accord 4 cyl V-Tech engine. It appears some couple months later I have an oil leak. It appears not all the bolts that hold down the valve cover gasket are there? Does anyone know how many bolts hold down the gasket and where they are located? Or is there a web site that might show me a design? Sure looks to me like at least 1 bolt on right side (facing engine) of valve cover gasket is missing. It's threaded and no bolt is there, this is also the side where oil seems to be dripping. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I recently got a 1997 toyota supra from a dealer in N tx. it didn't have a manual with it and we realised now that we're back home that we dont know where the gas lid release lever is lol. This hopefully isn't too hard of a question to answer, but i'd really appreciate any help, thanks!

I basically drain the old transmission fluid every 30K and added new fluid in. The fluid is always pink and had no problem. Maybe a slip or 2 in the past year. I heard bad things happenind to customers having this service done on them by reading them on google and some mehanic friends.

Hi

I was trying to put my Jeep Liberty into 4 Wheel High mode and got it stuck into 4 Wheel Lo Mode instead. I cant get it out of this mode. If I try to push the lever, it only goes into Neutral.

The sequence is Part Time -> 4 Wheel High -> Neutral -> 4 Wheel Lo Mode.

Please Help!!!!
