2001 Pontiac Bonneville Door Panel Removal?

I am installing new speakers in my bonneville and am not sure if there are any problems when taking the door panel off. thanks

Taking off a door panel is not a problem, just have to be sure that you get all the screws out, remove all electrical connectors, and unsnap all door panel holders. The door panel will fight you as you also have to lift them upwards as some are hooked into the metal of the door as well. Go slow and be sure as these panels are major league expensive. You will need a few special tools as in a longer fork style door panel clip remover. Check into GM online manuals as they will tell you step by step how to get them off without damage. Good luck.
