It is pressed on for some unknown reason. You either have to use the proper puller or some other means to remove it as I think there is a bolt or two behind the pulley that have to be removed to get the pump off. Good Luck.

It is pressed on. Take it to a parts store that has a machine shop ( call ahead ) or to a local garage. They can pull the old one off and press the new one on at the same time for a fee.

Take it to a nearby junkyard and junk the darn car.

it is bolted on by one or two bolts on the top and bottom

you shop manual..[haynes or chiltons] will tell you....or ask the parts guy/ gal
