Audis that are all original have matching door and ignition cylinders. I happen to own one that had the ignition changed so I have 2 keys for that car. Does your key fit the cylinder but not turn, or does it turn but not unlock the door? example-- my audi with 2 keys just happened to have 2 broken door locks. the key will turn in the door but neither door locks. I would try what the other guy said and try opening the passenger door. PS. is it cold where you live and could the lock be frozen?

It is not likely for the manufacturer to give different key for ignition and door. Perhaps you should try to open from passenger side.
