technically yes, but there will be a few parts to swap from the blazer 4.3 to the astro 4.3, due to the fact that the astro is packaged tighter under the hood, and things like, air hoses and such wont fit. other than that, as long as you have the computer from the original engine you should be fine...

Yes, they are basically the same motor. The only issue you will have is the intakes and injections systems are different. There also will be a difference in the exhaust manifolds as well because of space requirements for each. The oil pan might have to be swapped out as well because of the 4WD issue.

Very likely they would cause they come with the same engine although the '93 Chevy S10 Blazer may have more power.

If they are both "Z" code TBI, it's direct boltin after oil pan and pickup swap.. If the blazer had the "W" CPI engine, the heads, intake and pan and pick up. need to be changed.

Sounds like you might have both charging and hard start issues. Have the alternator checked. This could be several issues as to why hard to start. It could be as simple as a good tune up, not just spark plugs. However I would pull the plugs and check the condition of them to start.

are theey both automatics or standards, check transmision bolt pattern, measure tail shaft and lenght of drive shaft, go to the library and look it up in chiltons manual, or call a salvage yard they have cross reference books
