i have a dodge spirit it has a 2.5 liter 4 cilinder engine and i would like to know if a transmissions from a 2.2 will bolt up to the 2.5 or if even the whole 2.2 would be interchangeable

So I have a 72 302 in a 66 coupe. Head gasket went bad so I changed it.

I Took the heads to a machine shop and they mag tested and looked fine to him. He did say that there was some wierd 2 bolt and washer system to make the rocker arms adjustable. I asked if I had to have the adjusable ones (since they are not stock) and he said that the previous owner (not the best mechanic I've come to find out because of other problems I've had) might have some weird camshaft that needs adjustable rocker arms.

I asked what I should do and he sold me some nuts with set screws on the top to lock them in.
He said to adjust them just wait till they stop clicking and then go a 1/2 turn more (while running).

I think I went to tight because the engine stopped running. I read another post just now that said I might have damaged the valves. What to do what to do???

Please help me adjust my rocker arms.

my car doesnt have a dipstick like the one for the regular oil. i am having trouble shifting and i just had the cluth replaced. i just want to check if is low on transmition fluid.

I bought a nissan altima 2.5S last summer and it makes a sound like a basketball is bumping in the trunk when I slow down and take a sharp turn but there is nothing in the trunk. There doesn't seem to be a pattern because I don't always hear the noise. Also I can't really locate where the sound is coming from but it seems to be under or in the back of the car. Has anyone had something similar. Any suggestions?
I also had a question about gas mileage. It is a 4 cylinder car and I had read that it should get between 23-29 mpg. I am ranging between 22-23 mpg in city and highway driving. Is there anything I can do to improve the mileage?

I'm looking for a TCM to replace the one I have. The car still runs, but it's in sports drive all the time. But I've replaced the battery recently, and a week later it died on me again. I'm thinking it's unrelated, like a bad battery cable. Could the bad TCM be causing the battery to die?

i'm looking for a 1985 honda crx si head it has a 1.5si motor in it and is a 5 speed we've looked everywhere and so far nothing. i'm not looking to spend a bunch as the car itself is not worth it however it's supposed to get great gas mielage so i'd like to fix it.

i have a 92 mustang lx 2.3l and when i go to take off it starts sputtering and stalling and stuff, it bogs down and doesn't want to take off, i took off the hose thing that runs from the air cleaner to the throttle body and it seems to run like 30x better, what could be causing this, i have put the computer on it and it doesn't say anything.
