Go to Auto Zone, and ask for a free booklet on computer trouble codes. On all Chrysler products you can use the key to test by quickly turning on and off the key 3 three times. then leave it in the on position but not running and count the check engine light flashes the first is a code 12 two times then are the diagnostic codes. the book will give you more information and you can also get the computer codes book by Haynes, this is full of good information on this topic.

first you need the diagnostic software ans a computer to run it on.or you can have your trouble codes scanned and diagnose the codes.

you need a scanner to do this with,your has the obd-system in it,and you cant read or erase without this tool,,good luck.
