Car Makes - November 2006

The clutch has been replaced 20,000 mi. ago.When cold it works, but when warm it has great resistance to the pedal and fails to release completely. Both master and slave cylinder have been replaced, pedal linkage is lubed. When warm it takes a lot of pedal pressure to push the clutch to the floor, almost like something is binding and the clutch doesn't release completely. HELP!

My fiance and I bought our first truck together July 3, 06. He was in Iraq. I made all the purchase etc. I traded in my chevy, that I miss and regret selling to Toyota as down payment.

Parts and service is horrible. Gives attitude. Automatically thinking I don't know nothing about vehicles. I fought tooth and nail. it took a threat of getting my lawyer involved to get the roof repainted. Never checked the roof until 2 mth later when washing. Unproper paint job. Paperwork from paint shop estimate was done.

My heating went out over the weekend. they said "someone was kicking under the dash causing the wire to detach". 1) no one was in passenger all weekend. 2) If so, why was "wire" exposed (which wasn't...) and automatically placing blame on human other than it simply could of came "unhooked". They said the heating was fixed. It isn't. Still gave warm almost cold air. Then 30 mins into my driving, it rushed hair, came on hot. Yet the dial is "different" on turning and air pressure

but when i unhook a sensor on the top of the transmission then it shifts just fine but it wont even attemped to shift down to 1st or up to overdrive. I am wondering if it might have a bad lock out torqe converter sensor? oh by the way it has the 3.0 motor in it

I hear like a fan blowing or something underneath the truck is the motor going to be warmed up enough to make the heater get warm sooner inside the truck? I bought a Limited Edition 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo Intimidator SS, Dale earnhart edition. It has a supercharged 3.8 liter Engine, goes about 130 mph, and has onstar, leather interior, satellite radio, etc. basically all options offered by chevy that year.(1SC package) This car cost $38,000 new. With it being front wheel drive, will it appreciate in price, even though its FWD, They only made 4000 of them, and I have the cretificate of authenticity? I really like it, but do you think it was worth being in debt for 5 years?

I have a 93 lincoln continental with a 3.8 engine.The oil pressurs will show 4 bars and for no reason drop to 1 and stay there for a while then go back to 4 bars.The car has a new factory rebuilt engine new oil pressure sender and we have installed 3 instrument cluster,still the situation remaines.Is there something between the sender and the indicator? Noticed the outside temp displayed in the car this evening was over 90 degrees but the outside temp was closer to 65- 70 degrees. Are there any known issues with these sensors? Can it be replaced easily? I've got just over 75K miles on a 75K mile warranty... bad timing possibly.
