Go to http://www.fueleconomy.gov not only will the give you gas mileage ratings for all makes-models-years, they can break it down to size &/or classification oc vehicles & also give you some tips on how to improve gas mileage.

and lastly check out http://www.telsamotors.com this baby uses no gas at all & gets the equivelent of 135 mpg

My wifes toyota echo gets 42mpg its the bare bone model and its pure fuel no hybrid. Toyota seems to have the best gas milage cars.
