The car is 186.2 inches long and rides on a 110.5-inch wheelbase. The wheels are 21s at the front and 22s at the rear, shod with monster 275/30 front and 305/30 rear tires, which should be able to corral the 400 horses from the LS2 6.0-liter V-8 engine powering through a six-speed manual transmission.
The show car has a cobbled together chassis with an all-independent suspension, but if it makes it into production, it will use the so-called Zeta Lite architecture that will be shared with Holden in Australia.

Those people who said learn a stick were obviously not around in the 60's, 70s, 80s,....and even today, when the 2 speed powerglide ruled the race tracks. The time it takes for you to shift a stick in the quarter or eighth mile is enough more me in my automatic to blow by you and win by a car length.
Yeah take that stick and I will take your money!

When this car comes out it will probably be available with both auto and manual transmissions, but I think it should only have a manual. Real muscle cars should not be automatic. Learn to drive a manual and you will never regret it. Its a blast!!!

i enjoyed the thought... i replaced into pissed once I observed how they deviated from it. it lost assorted the unique agressive strains and it is feirce look. i do no longer understand why they replaced it the way they did, yet my concept is they are saving the layout factors they replaced for the VOLT so as that it seems super-undesirable-***. too undesirable for the Camaro...
