Other than price ? Availability ? NOTHING except that it won't seat a family of 4. Nor will it accomodate my grocery bags, shopping bags, golf clubs, picnik cooler, or much of any other cargo.

So for a wealthy single person who only needs to commute by themselves, in style .....its fine.
But for the average American car buyer.....?

Well the Tesla is a pretty cool electric sports car. What's wrong with it depends on where you're coming from.
*
If you miss the sound of a big roaring engine, you could always play the sound of a gas-guzzler on your stereo.
*
If the $90,000 price tag is too high, you could buy one of these cheap electric conversions instead (for as little as $5000, see the links at the bottom of the page):

*
If you're worried about the source of the electricity you're charging the car from, you can put a solar panel on your garage roof.

A seek for on ebay for carried out 2010 listings confirmed a large drop in fee IMO because maximum of them went unsold because the Reserve fee were no longer even met. (The reserve expenses were about $75K).

Who says anything is wrong with it? It is a vehicle just being developed and just coming out on the market.
All of the auto magazine reports I have read about it, give it good reviews.
I wouldn't spend $100,000 just to have something different.
