The clutch has been replaced 20,000 mi. ago. When cold it works, but when warm it has great resistance to the pedal and fails to release completely. Both master and slave cylinder have been replaced, pedal linkage is lubed. When warm it takes a lot of pedal pressure to push the clutch to the floor, almost like something is binding and the clutch doesn't release completely. HELP!

Well I agree about the junk reman master cylinders, but that is not going to be your problem here.
One of two things is happening. Either your pressure plate is bad and the spring pressure is increasing under heat (not likely) or the release bearing is binding on the front trans collar where it slides. this can be caused by either a worn release fork forcing the bearing out of position as it slides or by a worn front collar (frt bearing retainer)
In either case you are going to have the trans out again and might as well change the clutch and pressure plates while you are there.
good luck

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the Clutch Operating cylinder. These do fail. When the cylinder goes out it often gets hard to push in the pedal as the seal is shredded and causing resistance. Often they will work fine until the system is warmed up and the mashed seal swells. Worth a look anyway. Good luck!

Sounds like the rebuilt master cylinder you purchased is beginning to fail. Colder temps causes the metal in the cylinder to contract, seal things up and work fine. As things heat up, the cylinder expands and things don't work so well.

Try a different brand of rebuilt cylinder or a brand new cylinder. Hope this helps.
