winners selected from a computer ballot system. My prize??? Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Great Britain Pounds Sterling and a brand new Honda FR-V. Is this a scam or is it for real. Need an answer ASAP.

if they ask for any money up front then it is a scam,check there web site for such a contest
don't forward any account info if they say they need it for depositing the check,they can hand you the check,if its for real they would not pass up that publicity

No. The giveaway for any scam is that they will eventually insist that you WIRE them money. Anyone that asks for that is asking you to send them money in an untraceable manner. If they send you a "check" it will cash normally and then bounce four or five weeks later. You'll be out whatever you wired them, and the bank might press charges.

This is a scam. Do not answer it. Your computer will most likely pick up something you don't want. Delete it.

Anything that sounds too good to be true probably is.
