Check your seat belt and the board that covers your spare tire to make sure they don't flap or move around while your driving. Check your cv boots.
As for tire pressure, you need to check your tire pressure. Avoid accelerating too fast and sudden stops when you drive.

ok, i dont know much about the new camry, but i can tell what i have experienced and heard about the new altima, personally im not a huge fan of the CVT transmission, thats continuously variable transmission, meaning it never really changes gears, there are no gears, its like a hydrostatic drive on a lawn mower, its made with two cones that have a belt spinning on them, the belt just adjusts according to your speed and how much gas you give it, in my opinion it makes the car sluggish and not as powerful, also the stock 4-cylinder that comes in most of the altimas, is gutless already, so i sugest if you make your decision on an altima, id get a manual transmission, and if you still want to stick with nissan but decide you dont want an altima, i would suggest a 2004-2006 nice used nissan maxima, i own a 2005, best car i have ever owned, never had to do anything to it, lots of power also, 265 HP, but we just got back from a trip to the beach, 6 hour drive and it got almost 30 mpg, about 28 or 29 mpg, so youve got power and gas mileage, excelent car

i own a repair shop, and you need to check and make sure the spare tire is mounted down real good for it,this will cause it to bump like that and make noises,as for the fuel mileage, probably a good tune up would help it to run a little better, and also help the mileage on it also i do this all the time, and even though its a 04 model,it could still need a tune-up,,one thing for sure is,it wont make it get any worse mileage,,good luck, look for something loose under the car or in the trunk area for the noise,,i hope this help,s.

the milage ratings are based on THEIR tests. Your driving habits are different. They drive in best case scenarios. Anyway I'll bet your spare tire or tire iron has come loose in the back. The same thing happened in my Camaro and it drove me nuts.

Its a drive train problem in your transmission. I had the exact same problem not too long ago..see if you are covered under a warranty, and get it checked before it's too late.

You should inspect your bushings. ( the mounting points where things were attached to your car) such as the rear control arm bushings, end links, sway bars, and the like. anywhere metal meets rubber.
