They are a reliable car, as long as they are well maintained. Depending on what the mileage is, you should have the timing belt replaced, as it should be every 125000 miles or so. The transmission had problems in 95, but they fixed the problem in 96. If it is a 4cyl, they do have headgasket sealing problems, however it is easily fixed.

well i have a dodge stratus 2,000 and its been a great car. very reliable. i think dodge is a good car. good luck!
