i have a dodge spirit it has a 2.5 liter 4 cilinder engine and i would like to know if a transmissions from a 2.2 will bolt up to the 2.5 or if even the whole 2.2 would be interchangeable

yes it will work same transmission it will bolt up same im a mechanic

I would think so. BUT, stop at your local auto salvage yard and ask them. These places know cars like the back of their hands and have the books, tech info on what bolts up to what.

same blocks for both engines but the trans will bolt to the engine but in the car ??? the engines used the same mounting brackets, hope this helps
