Hi,

Does anybody know what this part is, I have an audi a3 and had to get a new gearbox over the weekend because the mechanic told me that this part (PIC IN THE URL) was broke..

The image is on the 2nd row with an orange background I think it's a flywheel.

I paid £675.00 to get it sorted as the mechanic told me I needed a new gearbox would this be correct.

THE PICS IN GOOGLE IMAGES : http://images.google.co.uk/images?sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B2GGGL_enGB177&q=a3%20GEARBOX&oe=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

p.s - how can i tell if a new gearbox has gone in ???????

Thanks In Advance

First and foremost, price. I'm only looking to spend at most $250.00. I read some reviews of the Centerforce Stage 1. Most of the reviews said that the Centerforce are more for v8's and not imports. I have heard that Zoom! clutches are better for imports. But, of course, I'm not so trusting of people that do not own the same vehicle as I do, so that's why I turn to you all. What's the best clutch for that amount of money that I can put on my vehicle that will outperform the stock clutch and stay at a reasonable price?

I misplaced my key and some idiot-*** locksmith kept sticking non-PATS keys into my ignition until the anti-theft system went into starter disable mode. Then I found my key, but now the anti-theft system isn't recognizing my original PATS key. I heard that it can be easily reset to disengage the no-start feature so it takes my original key without my having to pay to get it done at a dealership. And I need to move the truck out of a no-parking zone ASAP before my landlord has it towed off, so I'd very deeply appreciate it if anyone can give me a speedy answer. Thanx in advance!

My parents bought it brand new in 1995, it is running beautifully, we have about 148,250 miles on it. My estimate from my testing, while coming back from a vacation we were cruising at 70-75 mph and it was a 350 mile roadtrip, and my stimate was 22-23 mph highway and about 17-18 city. Is this accurate. I have a GXE model. Any comments complaints on this car.

Ive searched on ebay and different websites but all they have available is for the 2.5 ser and for the 1.8. Maybe one of you guys knows this. Does the SER exhaust fit on the 2.0 SE with the engine size difference. Please let me know. Any responses will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I have an 88 GMC 4x2 rusted body new engine 4.3 V6. I was given a great 86 GMC 4x2 with a blown 305ci. I was told that If I change the intake to a carb intake then I will be okay.. I hope that this is true. They say if I change the 86 to throttle body that I will have a great amount of work to do.this Does anyone have any ideas or information or links for me to check to do this job. I miss my truck. yes I am a redneck. At least my kids say I am LOL
