well theres only one easy way to do that take it to a garage or if you are wanting to do it your self you will have to take your motor mount bolts out and lift your motor up becare full you don't crack your disrtibitor or you will be fixing that next drain your oil drop your pan it may be a tight fit getting it out theres a little oil pump drive shaft that goes from the distribitor to the oil pump that drives your pump make sure after you take your old oil pump off you get that shaft back in place again clean your oil pan up apply your gasket goop sealent and your new pan gasket tighten it down add your new oil and filter its a bit of a ***** of a job to do i have done it on both rangers and f-150 trucks its not an easy task unless you have done a few of them now if you have the time you could pull the motor and tranny and then you will have easy accsess to the oil pump but thats alot of work to change your oil pump ..hope this was helpful

Simple. Drop the pan and R&R it. The hard part can be the pan, especially on 4WD models. No matter what you're going to have to lift the engine and probably transmission as well.

Have fun.

EDIT: Check your e-mail, you have two.

first you trash the truck, buy a chevy and run over the ford ranger, and then you won't have any problems. There is no easy way on a ford, it's a hard job. I would be careful.
