My parents bought it brand new in 1995, it is running beautifully, we have about 148,250 miles on it. My estimate from my testing, while coming back from a vacation we were cruising at 70-75 mph and it was a 350 mile roadtrip, and my stimate was 22-23 mph highway and about 17-18 city. Is this accurate. I have a GXE model. Any comments complaints on this car.

Everything you said is correct. Well cared for proper timing belt and maintenance is key the van should make 250,000 miles. The big thing will be years and wear and tear to the interior. Nothing satisfies like a new car parked in your driveway.

They are good however later models went with plastic intake manifolds that warp and leak, like the Fords.Nissan has taken lessons from American car makers, and are building crap in Mexico.

I am glad your parents have had good service from the car.

However, I hope you and your parents will consider what damage foreign products are doing to the economy of this country.
