First and foremost, price. I'm only looking to spend at most $250.00. I read some reviews of the Centerforce Stage 1. Most of the reviews said that the Centerforce are more for v8's and not imports. I have heard that Zoom! clutches are better for imports. But, of course, I'm not so trusting of people that do not own the same vehicle as I do, so that's why I turn to you all. What's the best clutch for that amount of money that I can put on my vehicle that will outperform the stock clutch and stay at a reasonable price?

As always it helps to know what you drive, Year Model and engine size miles ect. There are lots of things to think about. The weight you have to push each time you disengage the clutch. There is where centerforce shines weights applie more holding force as rpm's go up.. Other things to think about while you are working on your car is motor and transmission mounts. I had a 78, 280z and rendered it almost undriveable with a race clutch setup.

Depends on the car that you are driving, but Exedy makes a good racing clutch and they are used alot in japan in race, performance upgrades and even stock clutches. Check on ebay, for them. Its a great clutch in my opinion!
