I'm graduating from school next month, and I plan on buying an '07 Civic EX Coupe w/Navi. I've tried doing some research into financing, and have found where Honda offers a Graduate Financing program. Does anyone know any specifics on this program?

I plan on putting $9,000 down (roughly 40% of the sticker price), and have started a full-time Credit Analyst position at a nationally chartered bank in Texas. I've checked into financing through the bank where I work, and the rate was a little steep for my liking (lack of established credit history).

I would like to know if anyone has any thoughts or experiences with this car.
I am thinking about getting a 2007 but I haven't found many owners around.
I am thinking about the 2WD and smaller engine. I am reffering to the S40 in 2.4i 168HP.
Also, does anyone knows what is the price of maintenance? Are the service too expensive?

The engine I'm not worried about. I plan on dropping in a 350 with some current modifications. I'm concerned about body parts. Metal panels and thing such as window cranks and whatever. Are they still readily available? Am I going to have to scour junk yards and Ebay or is there a company who makes new OEM parts?

I have read problems about 05 Altima owners being dissatistifed with their altimas due to struts, reliability, etc. Is this why so many 05 Altimas are available at dealers right now? Do most of them secretly suffer from these problems, but the dealers are trying to get rid of them? Thanks (specifically with the auto 3.5 SE)

We knew it was leaking something from the engine. I had taken it to 3 other mechanics and they all said they couldn't find the source but that he would probably need a new engine in 2-3yrs. That was 1.5yrs. This mechanic said it needs half shaft work, because the boots are torn and hydrolic fluid is leaking and he could loose his streering. Are we safe until he hear noises from turning the steering wheel or should I start looking for a new car? They also said he needs new struts,shocks, upper&lower pan gasket work and two screws holding the skid plate.I"m a mom just trying to figure this out.

I have a 1994 Chrysler LHS that seems to have an intermittant problem with the ignition switch. Occasionally when I start the car the guages and warning lights along with the transmission gear position indicator lights will not work. Also when this event is occuring the transmission will not shift out of first gear. The only thing that seems to fix this is shutting the car down and restarting it sometimes a couple of times. The last time the car did this I cycled the key cylinder all the way through from off to accessory back to off then on then to start. The gauges,lights,position indicator and transmission worked fine after that. I believe there was at one time a recall for the ignition switch on this particular model of the LHS and I'm pretty sure it was not done on this car. Do any of the Chrysler maintenance technicians out there have any previous experience with this type of problem?
