car almost putters in cold weather. Its not because of low grade gas. Only in cold weather. in summer i never really had this problem. What would cause this?

not all the time. But usually in when rpm's are low. but it has lost horsepower while in 4th gear going 60 then kicks back in. Its been doing this for 2 years. what would be a remedy i could do on my own?

fuel filter has been changed already thats not it

check for proper voltage to coil. could also be bad plug wires. use NAPA wires,the good ones with the life-time guarantee. possibly bad coil, but after 2 years?

Change the fuel filter.
you may have some crap or sludgy stuff in there that could be gelling when it gets cold, restricting fuel flow. Also try a quality fuel injector cleaner. I recommend Lucas fuel injecter cleaner. Buy the medium sized bottle. Not the one use bottle. You only need one ounce of it for every 10 gallons of gas. So you can get about 5 to 10 uses out of one bottle

my dad's mustang sometimes doesnt start in the cold weather... it might have something to do with oil or gas... idk though, good luck
