Like I said, IT'S NOT TRUE!!!...

Unless I can ask the Czech Consulate in L.A. about this(or check out Wikipedia), I stand by my answer...

Never mind...Wikipedia has confirmed it...you're right!...sigh...too bad for me...my apologies to all Skoda fans...I'm sorry...

skoda in Czech and in Slovak means damage or loss, also regret

I think it also translates to "damage"...

damage = škoda

Try any EN-CZ dictionary....
