I have read problems about 05 Altima owners being dissatistifed with their altimas due to struts, reliability, etc. Is this why so many 05 Altimas are available at dealers right now? Do most of them secretly suffer from these problems, but the dealers are trying to get rid of them? Thanks (specifically with the auto 3.5 SE)

The July 2004 purchased 2005 altima leases are up if the car has 36,000 miles on it. Most all of the altima customers I know are quite happy. A little knock noise from front struts really is not much an issue. And the V-6 is really the way to go. Especially if you can either get the 6 speed manual or five speed Toyota automatic transmission. The four speed auto matic is just not as economical or fast. I think Buying a 2005 Altima used will make you want a new 2007.
