The engine I'm not worried about. I plan on dropping in a 350 with some current modifications. I'm concerned about body parts. Metal panels and thing such as window cranks and whatever. Are they still readily available? Am I going to have to scour junk yards and Ebay or is there a company who makes new OEM parts?

I'm about 35 years old and the truth is I've never known anyone to have problems finding parts for just about any Camaro. It really depends on where you live as well, some of the best salvage yards are in the larger cities.

However you can order parts through the mail. As stated before buy a few copies of hot rod magazines and odds are you'll find all the parts you need for a Camaro.

Restoring Camaros is not a rare occurrence in fact next to the Mustang I'd have to say they are a close second or third over the years in car restoration popularity. So surf the Internet buy the magazines and you WILL find your parts. By the way don't forget the salvage yards. A rare gem from that era pops up every now and then...

OPG(original parts group), year one, Classic Industries, Jimmy's Bowtie, National Parts Depot, Bluegrass Classics, you may even find someone, like i did, that just buys old camaro's and saves the usable parts from them. I have restored a 69 and am in the process of restoration of a 67, if your not looking for a 100 point concours resto, then any of these will be more than helpful. fenders, doors, quarters, hoods, trunk lids, roofs, whole glass kits, interior kits, you could build a brand new car just from new parts from these parts stores. Now they even reproduce 69 convertible and hardtop bodies($10,000) I hope this helps

Year One is a good place to start. You can almost build one from scratch with the parts available here.

Cars Inc also specializes in Chevy restoration parts.

With both places, your checkbook is the limit.
