It can work. But a wise thing to do would be to find a front clip from a 87-93 and put it on you 80-86. It would look a lot better anyway.

it depend what all included in the kit? you can make a 79-86 mustang look like a 87-93 by changing tail lights, front bumper and headlamp Assembly with the headlamp support and if its a hatch back the rear side windows.

YES it will fit if you are referring to a 87-93 GT or COBRA!! You can make the exterior look like a 87-93 GT/COBRA and it will all bolt right on!! On the side skirts you will have to drill small holes
for the rivets.Front bumper and headlamp assy.bolt on.May need to change the hood.Rear bumper bolts on along with taillights. Aftermarket kits most likely wont fit like it belongs there if you know what i mean.

The Mustang will be less severe priced to save on the line. The pre-LT1 Corvettes of that era weren't extremely quickly both, The reliability, extremely the electrics and construct high quality of the C4 Corvettes weren't those automobile's solid matches.

i dont think so i had a 89 convertible and parts from 86 wouldnt fit you could do a little modifiaction to make it fit properly
