well i use to always want a car a lowrider kinda but now i want a truck that has a good system on it cause i like trucks to im gonna get a vehicle cause im turning 16 but i dont know wat to get my friends have trucks and we all go cruisng but can anybody help me make up my mind.

Just wondering how the whole company demo thing works in the world of car sales. I spoke with a manager of a dealership today about a career in car sales and he mentioned the prospect of driving a demo. How does this work? Do I still make payments on it? Who pays the insurance, etc?

Bought a new car recently and my first payment is supposed to be due in 2 days. Strangely, I have not received anything from the dealership or the financing company. Contacted the financing company today and they don't have an account established for me yet. I contact the dealership and they say my financing hasn't been completed yet. It's been almost a month since I bought the car.

Anyone have any idea what is going on here? If I'm unable to pay my bill on the date stated on the contract due to them not having my financing set up, is that a breach of contract?

hello all, well my ex boyfriend bought me a car and he paid cash on it, and he ttrasnfered the tittle to the car to me so when i went to the tag place i paid around 380 with the tax of the car, now they send me a letter saying that i have to pay around 2500 on taxes what the hell is this do i have to pay taxes again??? please can someone tell me that i have to pay the whole amount?

I commute to school about a 1 hour back and forth. I rarely drive around town. The SRT-4 is a turbo and I know that turbo's eat alot of gas. Only Prenium and lots of it. I'm cheap but does the SRT-4 get at least 25MPH on the highway? I'm thinking about a non turbo WRX impreza sedan. It's not turbo so it will not eat alot of gas, right? I'm stuck between a SRT4 and a non turbo WRX. Which car is better for me?

Used car would be $300.00/month, 4 years newer than other car and has 70,000 less miles. Insurance would be the same. Car already paid for has had numerous problems and I am worried about the long trip daily in the car

I have a 94 Ford Escort I'm trying to get rid of. It's been wrecked- so the front of it isn't in the best shape - but not smashed in or anything. It doesn't have the airbag anymore (which is another question I have- is it even legal to sell a car w/o an airbag?) It has like 180,000 miles on it, but It runs fine. Very rarely gave me any problems whatsoever. So, I went to Kelley Blue Book online and it said it was worth $1,000. Then I went to Edmunds.com and it said it was worth about $300. I put the exact same info in on both sites. How can I find out how much to ask for it?

i feel a bit ripped off.. my last car was an 02 Altima, it didnt have a warranty and things were going wrong with it. i traded it i wanted a lancer or somethin small. instead i got almost the same size car . i got a galant. its about $25,000, because its a 2007. i wanted something smaller..this is my first time getting a new car so dont post some dumb answer plz... plz tell me how i can or if i can plz.. thanks

I recently posted my CBR600RR bike on the internet. I received three different emails about the bike from people who said they wanted to buy it. All three of these emails had the equivalent of 9th grade level writing abilities. I mean, it was hard to understand what they were saying. I have a lady who wants my home number, cell number, address and all that so she can make a check out for the bike. I have a gut instinct saying they are trying to find out where the bike is and jack it. Any ideas of what I could say to extract more information from them? If anyone wants to read what the emails said you can email me at YZFRydn@aim.com, it is just a junk email thing I use so people don't use my real one but I will check it just in case. Thank you.

OK at the end of August I want to trade in my current car for a 350Z and I still owe money on the car. I know I'm about $3000 upside down so I know the $3000 will be added to the new car loan. My question is when I go to trade the car in does the dealer pay my old car off first then submit my application for the new car loan with the $3000 added on or do they submit the new car loan with me still having a balance on the old car?

I have sold over 400 cars on eBay. It just doesn't seem to be like it used to be. Cars aren't selling for as much money. People used to fly in and buy cars from all over. Now I only get local people. I am selling them for more and faster in the local newspaper. Also, 1/2 the people that are top bidder don't even pay. It's just not barely worth it anymore. Does anyone else feel this way? If so, why?

Im about to buy a car from my friends parents...its in great condition...but when I go to get registration and stuff, I will have to pay the taxes on it for the state...which is fine...no problem, but I am trying to estimate how much they will be. When I called the DMV office the recording says if I buy it from an individual I will have to pay 3% of the wholesale value.

Where can I find this information, or who knows what it is?????

I am a collegebound student going to Delaware State University from Philadelphia.
I'm living on campus, freshmans aren't allowed to have cars on campus, but I still want a car. (There's a mall across the street from the school which has a prking lot I could use but.....) My uncle is going to buy me a car, but he doesn't really see why i need one. I have a job back at home which I was going to work at when I get free time. Recently, my laptop broke, it was old annyway so I didn't really care. But now my uncle is volunteering to buy the laptop. I told him no, so we can focus on the car. But now I'm wondering, should I get the car or the laptop?

Me and my husband are looking to buy a new car what are some good dependable ones? we are probialy going to get a newer one from a dealership because we have had too many problems with all our older cars that we bought from single persons or used dealerships but i wanna know what a cute dependable car would be i am 23 i like sportish cars and i like lil compact cars i am not into buicks or cadillacs or any long 4 door cars if it has 4 doors it has to be kinda fat if you know what i mean like not long and skinny unless its 2 door sporty my 2 favorites are Eclipses or Dodge Vipers but i cannot afford a Dodge Viper and i might still have a chance on the Eclipse but what are your opinions?? I like Dodge Neons and Honda Civics(the 2 door ones) tell me what you think i might like and what you like.?

My husband and I went to look at a new Toyota Highlander. When we first went to the dealership, they had not arrived yet from the manufacturer. We received a phone call when they came in. This particular salesman told us that his late nights were Tuesdays. So my husband and I went this past Tuesday to test drive the vehicle. The saleman told my husband and I that he was too busy with other customers and could not help us. He told us to come back Saturday morning. The salesman called today to tell us that he cannot show the vehicle until 2pm because he has other customers. Then he asked my husband if he is really going to buy this vehicle. We haven't even had a test drive. My husband and I are a young couple, but I totally feel jerked around.
