So I'm about to buy a new car and I was just given a pretty amazing deal. I'm getting a 2007 Pontaic Vibe "lay off the making fun of the car, I need good MPG" and I was given the option of either getting free tinted windows and new upgraded chrome wheels, or a new paintjob. The reason for the paint job? The car is in red and I don't really like it that way. My payments are $219 a month and 0% APR for the next 72 months and they knocked it from $20 K to $14 K. My dad is the fleet manager so they are hookin me up. What do you think I should do? I wanted the car in Black or Dark Grey...

I bought a car in 2003 and owe about $8000 on it but am thinking of buying a new one. What will happen to my existing loan if I were to buy a new car? I would still owe that right? Would they just add that amount to a new loan amount? I'm confused about how this works. Please help!

Got into an accident with our 2000 Nissan Sentra. Front bumper and hood is banged up, light knocked out, etc. can't really drive, est. $3000 in damages. Not worth fixing, over 100k mi. However, runs great, no issues to this point, called some places to sell to but ppl just want you to donate or buy for like $150! I'd rather get a little more, someone could fix up and drive fine as first car or just sell for parts, etc. Know where I can call for best deal? I'm in Northern NJ. My husband and I purchased and 04 Chevy Tahoe back in October of 2006. We aslo purchased an extended warranty with it to cover anything that breaks. Well we are looking to trade it in for a different vehicle and I was thinking about canceling the warranty on the SUV before we trade it in so we can get that money back, we financed it through Americredit (don't ask me why b/c my husband has excellent credit and Americredit is a secondary lender, but anyways...) How do I go about cancelling the extended warranty? Approximatly how long does it take to recieve the check in the mail?

Ive been saving my money since the week after my 14th bithday for the perfect car (or as perfect as you can get on a part-time minimum wage salary.) And i've got about 15 grand right now. My 16h b-day is in a few weeks and I wanna get a black '67 mustang. I already had my twin broter(he biult HIS car from scratch. It's awesome) check the stang-in-question out. He says the car's in good shape. But now I can't help but wonder, should I really get this for my FIRST CAR? I mean it's a pretty big deal and I don't want to regret buying it 2 month's from now. I guess my question is, do you think I should get the mustang? Have any of you had any expitence with a '67 mustang? If so do you recammend it?

I have an '05 Xterra my husband and I purchased new when we were married. One month after purchase we split and I have been making the large payments on one income, which has been tough. I have about $5,000 in negative equity, which has made it difficult to trade to a cheaper vehicle. Does anyone have any suggestions? The bank wont refinance with just my income.

My vehicle will mainly be used for daily driving, but I will also use it to go camping/fishing/hunting. I want to have 4x4 or awd so i can still get to work when it snows, but it would be a waste of money to get a large truck or SUV. Ford is getting rid of the ranger next year(thats when im getting my vehicle). what does everyone think?

My boyfriend bought a car in may his granfather co signed for him because he is only 18 and gave a 500 dollars down payment and now its july and he is about to start school next month to be a mechanic and he need to buy almost 5 thousand dollars worth tools plus he ows his grandfather a 1000 dollars and rent is 300 dollars plus cellphone which is 40 and car insurance is 150 a month so its crazy and he only makes 9 dollars a hour and the car payments are 286 a month and i dont kno were depressed he was thinking to return the car and buya 2 thousand dollar car one he doesnt have to make monthly payments on and stuff is it possible to return the car? the car was worth 8 thousand dollars but they added alot of t hings to the load and stuff and eded up being 21 thousand dollars and he had to pay it in 5 to 6 years...... and that is to much what should we do ? return the caR? how? please help thanks
