You don't. That can't be done if the vehicle does not conform to US safety and emissions standards. Sorry!

You can import a non-conforming vehicle to the UK, however it must be used and you must take physical possession outside of the UK. To do that with a vehicle in Mexico, you'll have to take delivery in Mexico. So, don't forget your toothbrush.

I believe that the laws in the U.S. require that an imported car have a bond posted on it to conform to U.S.. safety and DOT standards.

Since you're in the U.K, you'll have to deal with whatever regulations that is required to import cars into that country.

However, I know a lot of people export used cars from the U.S. to Europe because it's cheaper and they sometime make money on it.

So, I'm thinking it may not be as expensive as you think. I'm only thinking it that if it's shipped via the sea, you'll have to wait for it.

I don't know if you could contact the factory directly and buy one. You might very well contact a dealer in the U.S., especially, one that deals with exporting to Europe and go from there.
