My woodruff key got mangled and dished out the end of the crank shaft where it seats. It also wore down the inside of the flywheel channel. Is there a way to fix them? Can I have someone build up the dished out areas with some weld?

My woodruff key is mangled. The depression where on the crankshaft is distorted as is the slot on the inside of the flywheel. A machinest I spoke with said I can get by without one because it is the flywheel taper and bolt that holds everything in place. The woodruff key is just for aligning the timing. That didn't sound right.

I have my auto insurance with full coverage and I am driving past 3 years. My wife received her drivers license (her first new DL) just 3 weeks back and I have not yet added her to the policy. On my policy document her name is mentioned as "Not rated driver". Yesterday she was driving and I was along with her and she hit a car. It was not a major accident and only the front bumper got damaged and no body injured. It was our fault. Will my liability/collision coverage will cover the claims for me and the car we hit?

All other dash lights appear to be working fine. I looked at the fuse box and it doesn't appear there is a dedicated fuse just for the clock. Could it be a fuse?

you guessed it, i need some advice. i failed my first test miserably.
i'm talking my test in a small, close quartered town with short blocks with lots of intersections and big lanes, so it's hard to tell weather or not you need a lane change or not. i also need some tips on parking, it's a little less than another month away, so i need some tips that i can try and practice with.

It's like a platform with wheels, it sort of straddles the track has a big lever and you make it move by pumping it up and down.

I'm trying to find pictures of one.....and I thought it was "hand cart" ~ a few things are coming up under that, but I'm guessing there HAS to be another name for that thing.

Help! :)

98 Toyota van,at 39K miles, the oil change showed a little to much oil in the crank case. I noticed the hose between the valve cover and the air intake snorkle was leaking oil and it puffed white smoke in the morning.
