Before I took my first trip in my motorhome, I had a new battery, alternator and belts installed. Approximately an hour down the road, a belt breaks. I was towed to an RV repair shop where all three alternator belts were replaced. The next day I went on my way and after about another hour, the engine was overheating and one of the new belts broken. This time I had my RV towed home. I don't know if I should try to get it repaired again or just give up. I have put quite a lot into repairs up to now. Any ideas of what's wrong?

My mother-in-law was trying to wax her car under the sun and left it too long that it made the paint white.
I want to help her fix it, is there a way to fix?

I bought a 2003 Freelander about 5 weeks ago and have been running it mostly on bio-diesel. All was well until it decided not to start. My mechanic said bio was keeping them busy at the garage, causing problems on lots of cars. It turned out the fuel pump packed up. I have read that because it is a thicker fuel, it puts the pump under strain. I told the local Bio-diesel guy and he said 2 other people with the same car had told him of problems they had and advised me to stop going to him for the fuel. Are any of you guys a expert in this area or have you heard of problems?

I have a 1996 Ford Probe Se, and the heat didn't seem to be as warm this year and it started overheating some. First we put in a new thermostat. Then it continued and we realised we had to replace a hose. Someone else told me to get a radiator flush so no shops are open today so my b/f bought some stuff at the part store and did it himself. Still doing it. It seems to raise in temp. almost to the red and then it will drop back down. Any other suggestions?

The "ABS" light is on in my Explorer. I kind of think that it might have a blown fuse. Since I bought the truck used it didn't come with an owners manual. I'm looking for the fuse number of the ABS. If someone has this information, could you please share it with me ? Thank you in advance !

Hi
I am in the process of buying a car from this person, who still owes money to Honda Financial. He told me that on tuesday, we can go to the Honda dealership and pay them the balance and then they can sign over the title to the new owner, i.e, ME. However, i called Honda and they said Honda Financial is a totally different business form their Automobile business and i should contact them. Honda Financial doesnt seem to have an office around here and this process has to be done by phone then.
I dont want to pay the guy so he can pay off Honda Financial and i end up without the car and the money.

Any suggestion, Please help

The car is a little bit slipery on the upshift, is that a sign for the transmission to be changed or hopefully only its oil....what are the signs if the transmission needs to be changed? The car has done only 67,000miles and its a production of 1995...if the oil needs to be changed every 50,000 as i read before then i am hoping the transmission is still ok ....

Got clear plop mark on my car (metallic black). Polishes and waxes do not remove the clear mark that is left after cleaning. It looks like a chemical reaction. Is there anything I can do to remove the clear mark?
Heaps of ideas online…but not sure which is best/ most gentle to the paintwork
Thanks a lot!

The 2008 Nissan GT-R recently beat the track record of the Porsche Turbo at the Nurburgring and it has a 0-60 time in 3.5 sec. It is also more aerodynamic. And finally, it only costs only ~$80,000. What do you think about the Nissan GT-R vs. the Porsche Turbo?

Not so long ago, we thought the Audi R8 was going to get some of Porsche's sales, but now, the Nissan GT-R is a viable contender. What are your thoughts? The Japanese are bringing the Acura NSX, Lexus LF-A, and Toyota Supra here soon. Do you think Porsche needs to worry?

It would be in the UK and would involve opening a heritage railway to the public all year round and would have a timetable similar to services on Network Rail. The idea would be to have not just heritage services running but also modern trains running and perhaps connecting to a Network Rail line at some point. There would also be freight services where possible. It would be a not for profit organization and would contribute greatly to the local economy.
What would be the steps towards achieving this?
