Car wax turned the car paint white. How do I fix it?

My mother-in-law was trying to wax her car under the sun and left it too long that it made the paint white.
I want to help her fix it, is there a way to fix?
Or should I have it paint all over?

Bring the car to a detailer and get it buffed. A detailer will be able to polish the dried wax off with a high speed buffer. It will look better than new.

try wet sanding it with some 3000 grit sndpaper then buffing it with some 3m extra cu compoung then re waxing it!

It needs to be rubbed out, not repainted.
