What exactly the Chrysler 300 shares with Mercedes?

Question

I'm looking at Chrysler 300 and I heard it shares some components with Mercedes-Benz, do you know exactly which components?
I'm looking for more technically-detailed answer please.

depending on what engine you get, the transmission could be mercedes, the complete front and rear suspensions are mercedes, the differentials, and alot of the electronics are mercedes. half of the parts on the car actually have mercedes part numbers along side the mopar part numbers.

Too many to name off. Around 2002 or so, Chrysler changed over to Mercedes style of electronics and supposedly made it better system for one. Basically you are looking at a Chrysler made Mercedes.

The Chrysler is half the price because it is built cheaper too! The Mercedes will cost more to maintain and it will probably last longer and offer more comfort.

The biggest benifit the 300 gets from benz is the rear suspension. second is the all speed traction control system that the 300 has unless you are looking at the base model. esp uses the abs system to keep pwer going to the wheel with traction....also uses a yaw indicater like airplanes this is mounted under the center consoule it senses intended path and when the steering angle sensors tell the car you are trying to go a direction it will help by braking any number of the wheels to keep you on intended path
