The "ABS" light is on in my Explorer. I kind of think that it might have a blown fuse. Since I bought the truck used it didn't come with an owners manual. I'm looking for the fuse number of the ABS. If someone has this information, could you please share it with me ? Thank you in advance !

Here is the link to download a free owners manual courtesy of Fords website. The manual is in pdf format so you can easily download & save to your computer for future reference.

The chapter on fuses & relays starts on page 191

I personally would take Fordgirls advice regarding the ABS light. If the light stays on, It is probably not a fuse.
but you can download the manual for yourself anyway....
good luck.

If your ABS light remains on, when your vehicle is running, it means the is a problem in the ABS system that has been detected by the ABS module. To determine the cause would require a scan tool hookup that can communicate with the ABS module to retrieve the code. On Explorers, the most common cause is for the rear speed sensor to fail. If this is the case, the codes retrieved should be C1230 & C1237 out twelve possible codes for that particular model. This sensor if located on the top of the rear differential, secured by one 10mm bolt. The good news is, this part is very inexpensive, even from the Ford dealer. Hope this helps.

you might also want to have the computer scanned on it just to be sure it doesn't have any bad sensors on it,they will cause the light to come on also, but its a good idea to check the fuses also, you can get a new owners manual on this site if you want one for it,good luck with it,, http://www.books4cars.com/
