I was behind a biker who was wearing a chrome open face helmet and I want one. I've looked on web but no joy, I can find full face, and American versions, but I need one to European spec. Can anyone help ?

Sorry folks, with reference to the full face question, I ride a cruiser and I dont think full face helmets look any good. Also, when I came off my 'bike once upon a time, it was the top of the lid that took all the impact, not the chin.
Its my choice ..........

Also, my bike is covered in chrome, and I think its easier to see than the matt black one I wear at the moment.

There aren't any.

Companies like Voss and AFX make chrome crash helmets, but none are approved for road use in Britain.

You can buy them, but they are regarded as 'novelty use only' under U.K. safety laws.
