10 second quarter mile. 3 seconds is a really good 60mph time.

Just about anything can hit 0-60 in ten secs. It's refers to a car traveling the quarter mile in 10 seconds. A ten second car is very fast, no stock car can do that. I believe the fastest production is 10.8 seconds.

Are you talking about a car?
It is a speed measurement and it is possible that is what they are talking about.
I always took it to mean 10 seconds in the quarter mile, which would be highly unusual for a street car. Even the Suzuki Hyabusa (sp) doesn't go that fast in the quarter mile stock.

ive been racing for ten years it means how fast you can drive in a quarter mile from a complete stop to as fast as you can go in 1/4 miles!

yeah that's right, 0-60 miles on 10 sec/ 0-100 km on 10 sec

i think you mean car....and that is for how long it takes for it to travel a quarter mile
