We've checked the distributor, that's fine, and the battery terminals are clean...I'm having the battery charged now. The car was turning over and sounded like it wanted to start...it just wouldn't. I have had this problem for a while, whenever it gets cold outside, the stupid thing won't start unless we jump it but that didn't work this time. Maybe it just finally crapped out... =(

You should see if your battery needs to be charged. Make sure all ignition contacts are connected tightly. check Rotor in cap. Check timing. check to see if you have correct firing order. Make sure that spark plug gap is at spec. Check fuel pressure. Test ignition switch. Could be any emmissions component such as 02 sensor. egr valve. throttle position sensor. some will contest this but a faulty coolant temp sensor will also cause a no start. Check relays, fuses, filters, connections, pull codes from ecu. You may have an obd1. This is good as you can easile pull codes with a 12 dollar voltmeter. Given the right procedure. Make sure car is in park if it is an automatic. If it is a manual, check the clutch switch (I forget the exact name of the part)

I don't know about the oil thing there (but you should keep it full to the mark or top dot on the dip stick) My guess is is bad or cheap gas that has water in it if this is the case you should avoid those off the wall no major name gas stations but if you must go there ad a bottle of stp or something that will remove water from the fuel lines. go ahead and add some now and if you get it started again you need to drive that bad boy and go to bp for example.

You didn't mention anything about a battery...are the terminals clean or built up? If you have junk where the wires are hooked up, you need to clean it w/ Baking Soda & Water. Also, could be your starter. Are you getting any noise when you try to turn it over??
