This wasn't a "fix-it" ticket. The fine alone is $15, but they add on $65 of other fees.

The tint was legal in Colorado, but it was too dark in the state I am in now. I did not know I was over the limit. THe sheriff did measure with the guage.

Take proof of removal and ask the court to dismiss the fine.

First show up, the police officer may not show up at all. The DA will offer a deal demand a trial. No witness (the policeman), no case. Convince the judge that you didn't know tint was against the law. Have pictures of your car without the tint.

outside of paying more than that for a lawyer to pay off a judge.... I'd just pay the $80.
Sorry. :)
If you didn't know the tinting was illegal, perhaps you can plead with the judge and show dated pics of the car without tinting and apologize. Make sure you are dressed nice!
good luck!

Was it a fix it ticket? If so, you go to the police station, show that the tint is gone, get the ticket signed off, take it to the court and they dismiss it.
Read the ticket, it will have all the information as to what to do and where to go printed on it.

Plead not guility ( do to circumstances beyond your control). Have the Judge set a date (waive time) and before appearing at that court appearence call the court Baliff and request a meeting with the Dep. Dist. Attorney. He will most likely drop the charges down to a fix-it-ticket. At least in Nev. Good luck.

Nothing. Unless you can prove the tint wasn't too dark. Did the officer actually measure them? Have to know the law in detail.
But now that it's removed that issue is gone.
How's the driving record? Ask for some forgiveness.

you are able to attempt to combat the fee ticket, however the fact of the region is which you have been going too rapid for the situations that's what develop into the widespread rationalization on your twist of destiny. The charge of "Failure to decrease speed to stay away from an twist of destiny" is a regular violation that incredibly says "you mustn't have been going that rapid". i be attentive to you have been going the cost decrease, yet whilst the line situations dictate which you decelerate, you should realize this. you actual can get a value ticket for "Speeds intense to situations" at the same time as going under the cost decrease and devoid of having brought about an twist of destiny. If it rather is your first fee ticket, ask the decide on your state in the event that they have the site visitors college selection. do not in basic terms pay the high quality on account that's an request for forgiveness and this might look on your checklist.

You can't unless you don't think you were in the wrong. You must have known about the window tint law. Just pay the ticket.

Go to your doctor and ask him to write up a note saying that it is ok because you get sunburned real easy or worry about uv rays damaging your skin. then take it to court and it will be dismissed. A judge can't deni doctor's order. I know cause i did it and i was in and out of court in like 30 seconds. That cop was pissed and i was laughing JUSTICE!!
