I was involved in a minor fender bender in a parking lot. A guy backed his car and hit mine. There were no damages but it upsets me that the guy just took off without saying anything. I got his plate #, the make and model of his car. If I report the incident to his insurance company will they raise his premium even though I have no financial claim?

im lookin for some subs that can have a nice clean bass sound that can be heard down the block. i have a short bed crew cab chevy that has four doors that open up like regular. im gonna put the subs under the back seats so i dont have much space. i went to a couple of stores and they said these will fit http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17759
but i want something that bumps real good and will fit in my truck. any suggestions??

I have a 1992 Lincoln continental and all of a sudden there is
this steam that comes out of the vents that smells like coolant and leaves a thin film on the window.
1) Is it the heating core or could it possibly just be a hose???
2) Will it damage the car to drive 15 minutes so I can get to work?

I have a Pontiac Grand Am 2000.

My radiator has a leak. It leaks coolant like crazy.
I don't know how much it would cost to get it fixed.

I've been thinking about selling the car, because it's useless and I have no money.
There are also a few other problems with the car, the driver's side window does not roll down, the AC needs charged, and there is no passenger side rear-view mirror. The reason I said all that, was because I need someone to tell me how much I could get for it, if fixing the radiator costs too much.

the reason i ask this question is because i will be using a universal adapter that does not have a 5 volt setting it has 4.5 then 6 volts would it maybe be the safest wayto set the adapter to 4.5 volts instead of 6 volts what effect if any would .5 volts short of the 5 volts suggested buy the manufacture have or the other choice 6volts 1 volt over the manufactures suggested input any help suggestions greatly appriciated --thanks

I live in a state where they are banning driving with a cell phone unless it is hands free. If i use a rubberband to attach cell phone to my head is that considered hands free? Can i get a ticket?

I was involved in a rear end collision. I had stopped at a light and a lady rear ends me. She gave me all her information and went our own way. We did not call the cops to file a police report. I reported the accident to my insurance company for safety before contacting her. I informed my insurance company that she wants to pay me instead of dealing with her insurance company. I contacted her the next day because she wanted to pay me instead of going through her insurance. Long story short, I ended up filing a claim to her insurance. Unfortunately, she tells her insurance company that it was my fault and the accident happened in the parking lot. I backed up into her basically. What do I do in this situation. My back hurts. I have consulted a chiropractor and I will need a few sessions to fix my back. (This happened in San Diego, CA)

I have a 1992 Grand Prix... I was driving down the road and my battery light came on. Sooo I just kept driving so I would make it home. Like 5 mins after the light came on everything started to shut down... My radio, dashboard lights, turn signal, outside lights, high beams, everything just gone. Sooo I got home turned off the car and it wouldn't turn back on. I put the battery charger on over night and this morning it still didn't work at alll!!! Would it be anything else or do I just need a new battery???

I was driving along in my 2003 Mustang convertible suddenly, the radio turned off, lights on my control panel started to come on (like ABS, Airbag...random things) then my gagues went from zero up to the top and back and then I lost power and steering. Anyone out there know what's up? When I tried to turn the key in the ignition it only gave me a loud clicking sound.

Sup guys, Im thinking about buying a 1974 Dodge Charger, it has a 318 with headers, and an H pipe and an intake. Other than that, i believe its stock. The interior is in terrible shape, and the exterior isnt that great either.. Would it be hard to find parts for the interior, things such as new seats and door pannels?
and also, the man wants 2700 or best offer, think its worth it?
Havent taken it for a drive, or even talked to the guy yet, just stopped by and checked it out on the way home.
also anyone know the specs for that year charger? how many ponies does that baby have stock?

Anything at all will be greatly appericated.

What do you usually suggest?

I see this question alot, and curious what other riders suggest. Do you suggest new riders to look at a smaller cruiser for 1st bike to learn on (Rebel, Virago, etc) or smaller sportbike (ninja, Nighthawk, etc) for 1st bike.

They both have pro's & con's regarding weight of bike, riding position, etc - but is one really easier to learn on then the other?

I'm gonna get my motorcycle license and I was just wondering what a good starter bike might be. I am 6'1 230 lb (was 200 before I started working out....seriously) if that helps. I heard that for my size, 600-650 cc would be good therefore I was looking into the honda cbr 600, suzuki katana 600, sv650sf abs, sv650sf, gsx650f, gsx-r600, thanks.

My friend has a 1990 Pontiac Sunbird, and its cooling system or whatever doesn't work. He says the heater core and the thermostat is fine and nobody seems to know what is wrong. The controls and the fan work ok, but it just keeps blowing cold air.

Any ideas?

I was stopped at a red light and a car rear-ended me, he was charged with Careless driving. However, I'm only 19 years old and I never got my license. I never went to the DMV to get a license. Will I be held responsible for the repairs of BOTH cars, even though it is stated in the police report that the other person was at fault and charged with careless driving ?????
