This is a fairly common problem. When your A/C runs, it collects water on the evaporator, thats the water you see dripping under the front passenger side of the truck in the Summer. Some water stays on the fins of the evaporator and when it sits long enough will start to create mildew. You can goto your GM dealer and complain about this odor. There is a chemical cleaning and coating available for your trucks evaporator core that can help prevent it from coming back. They may also be able to activate an after-blow option in your climate control module that will cause your blower motor to cycle on and off for a while after you shut off your truck to try to dry to water in the evaporator. Good luck =)

The 07 Yukon has a cabin air filter on some models. It should be replaced every 12000 to 15000 miles. If you don't know where it is check your owners manual most of the time it is located under the dash right side of cabin. If you can't find it then whoever changes your oil ask them to check to see if you have one. If not take it to the dealer and ask about a recall on the fresh air system sometimes it only takes one person to complan and they start a recall

The evaporator gathers water as it cools the air, just like a cold beer.... if it doesnt drain away fully or the drain tube is plugged mildew will build up. Run your heater when possible to dry that area (the heater core and evaporator are usually stacked) and it will go away eventually.

My old minivan does that when I turn the air on after not using it for a while. The more you use it the smell should go away.
