Im curious. Working in a lincoln mercury dealership is strange. People would rather buy a lincoln MKX from us than pay 5k less half a mile down the road for a ford edge.

I dont really see the logic in it other than so people can say they own a lincoln.

So I leave it to you loyal answer..ers. Which manufacturer do you prefer to own and drive? Why?

I'm about to buy a 99 R1, and looked up the insurence on it last night. It's 5000 DOLLARS A YEAR! thats the cost of the bike for full coverage. The company was geico, I've heard all state is good, who would you recommend?

I own a 1990 Volvo 240DL. When shopping for parts, I often find qualifiers such as the part is for VIN "8". How can I tell from the VIN number what VIN type or number or whatever it is that my car is?

i think they should be fined more than 500 dol!!! it should be considered a form of child abuse!!! its like having kids in a car with no seat belt!! car going at 60miles per hour and kids moving about in the car.. its a form of negligence and abuse to these kids who dont have any one responsible to speak up or protect them.... i hope the law comes to ny and nj... its about time we put a stop to it!!! kids never asked to have asthma or be exposed to all those toxics that can cause cancer!!

I went to a Honda dealer to check out a CR-V the other day. I tried opening the rear hatch but couldn't because, according to the salesperson, the battery was dead. She explained that the car had been sitting in the showroom for the past month without being started, and so the battery lost all it's juice. She brought in one of those portable car chargers, connected it to the battery and everything seemed to work, lights came on, car started, rear gate opened, etc.

The car is new, but an '07, and not a new '08, so I assume it had been sitting in the showroom for quite a while, probably for longer than the one month she claimed. However, it is still a new car with only 34 miles on the odometer.

Is it normal for a brand new car's battery to lose all power after a few months of idleness? Is it possible someone used one of the electrical ports to charge up a cell phone or laptop, and drained the battery? Is the battery bad, or is it an indication of a larger electrical issue?

I have a 2004 Mits Lancer and my ck engine light came on - I need to get my car inspected by NYS and they won't pass it. Anyone have a way for "me" to reset the light- I know I should bring it to the shop but its due and I need it done asap.

I've already tried to detach the battery but it worked until I turned my car back on... thanks

I have bought 3 batteries in the past 3 years since my bike keeps ruining them. I don’t know if it's the regulator, alternator or just an electrical problem. I need to know how to determine the problem without having to take it to the shop. Please help!!!
