3 yrs. ago, we went on vacation to galveston tx.. and the radio stopped workin'! it will not work on the fm stations, and the am stations barely come in. the clock still works though. we've checked the fuses etc. nothin' found.
the car is a '98 chevy cavelier/4 door.
any ideas what to do or what may have caused it?
this car has been a true blessin'. and we will not be gettin' rid of it anytime soon.

people that buy and own motorcycles and atv's have money, and a motorcycle and atv is concidered a luxury, an item people don't need. There is a luxury tax on boats of a certain size, and cigarettets are taxed cause they are considered harmful to your health, and maybe in the same way motorcycles and atv's are harmful to your health. We must raise taxes some way.

I have a honda cbr 600 f 1997 and it refuses to start, is it possible that a faulty alternator is stopping the bike from starting??
I have tried everything else and just wander if this is a possibility?

For non-stop long haul flights in Northern winter climates (i.e. 8 hours from Canada to Scotland), how do they keep the wings free of ice build up? Does de-icing really keep them ice free for the entire flight?

Is it more "dangerous" to fly in the dead of winter in these conditions?

(I will be flying in a commercial airliner jet, not sure exactly which plane type, but probably a 737 or 747).

I have a drivers license, Can I drive in a different state if that state has a different license? I am fully licensed but everyone keeps telling me that I can't drive anywhere out side of the state on the license that I have. I need to know as I'm driving to vegas tomorrow. I just bought a 1979 Ford truck that's lifted 9 inches to play in the mud with. It has about 3 to 4 inches of play in the steering when you turn the wheel before it actually starts turning the vehicle. I haven't really gotten the chance to look at it at all yet, but I was just kind of wondering if somebody could tell me what the possible causes of this problem are? Supposedly the tie rod ends and ball joints are new. Thanks for your help in advance.

My Accord has about 141000 miles on it. Lately is has started sputtering whenever i come to a stop and ocassionally the engine just dies. After this happens i just put it in park and restart it. This has happened numerous times and so i was wondering what could be wrong with it and how i can fix it. Thank you!

Ok so when I turn the headlights of my car on only the side yellow lokking lights will turn on, but not the white part of them. However, I dont think its the bulbs because when I turn the high beams on, they work fine... Whats wrong?

Please consentrate on my suggestions. So many people complain about autorickshaw driver.Because he drive complete without sense & so many range of auto in the city(Ahmedabad).I think auto driver creat very huge traffic. When I am sitting at traffic lights the temperature gauge jumps from the middle to the top. When I turned off my car after this it sounded like the fan was still going (actually I think I saw it still going). My keys were not in the ignition at this stage.

I have just recently had it serviced but have since travelled approximately 1500kms since.

I can only find water in the top right hand corner of the engine (close to the windscreen) in a plastic looking tank marked with min and max levels.

The water level looks to be below the min level. Do I just put some water in here or am I meant to have some coolant? I don't quite know what coolant is. Is there special coolant for her?

Could this also be an oil issue?

Ok, bought a 1997 Pontiac Bonnieville last year - Ran Great!
Then...
My registeration was due and I took it to get a smog...
Didn't pass, codes on the failed smog was for 2 things
1) Map sensor (turns out I didn't have one at all)
2) TPSensor (needed to be replaced)
Before I fixed those I went and got a diagnostic, which concluded that the 2 things above were bad as well as manifold gasket and that the ****** that sold it to me unscrewed the check engine light.
So in reality the engine light had been on since I had the car

Then I replaced all that was broken with the car (Map, TPS, Gasket, engine light, as well as tran flush, oil change, etc..


Took it to pass smog and EVERYTHING passed, only thing was that someone had unhooked the battery and I was told by the Smog Tech that I needed to drive 60-80miles to reboot comp, then it will pass.

65mile later my checjk engine light came back on
