There is a bulletin on the wipers;08-31-98 rev.a. Which tells you to replace the wiper switch.(multifunction switch). the door lock switch problem is unrelated. The two uses separate relays. Check all door switches to make sure they are adjusted right. Van are bad about sliding door switches going out of adjustment. This will cause the door locks to unlock and lock. They are self positioning, though. Just take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull out the center plunger a little and when you close the door, it will push in to the right adjustment.

I do not think that there is a link in terms of a relay.

Maybe a loose connection flopping around? Probably a bad earth that is confusing the system?

Good luck! I hate those types of problems. I will be thinking of you!
