my Honda accord 2004 is showing the MIL light and the problem was diagnosed as "knock sensor harness rodent damage". Want to know the meaning of it, also to know the location in my car.

I seriously doubt your computer actually reported "rodent" damage. I think you mean that somebody (maybe the mechanic) assumed it was rodent damage.

Basically knock sensor is located ON THE ENGINE BLOCK - often near to top side (but not on the engine TOP). But given you have rodent damage you probably don't have to replace the knock sensor but the wires that was chewed by the rodent.

Look under the hood and look for wires that seems chewed. You would need to replace them somehow. The proper way to do so would be to replace the actual wire harness. But that's really expensive (labor). So the best thing to do is to just replace the wire segment (section) that was chewed on.

If you don't know about wires, look the net for wire crimpers and / or shrink tubing (and maybe soldering).

Good Luck.

rodent damage is where a mouse or other animal has chewed on the wires

rodents include mice, rats, squirrels, chipmunks, gophers, porcupines, beavers, hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs. Rodents have sharp incisors that they use to gnaw wood, break into food, and bite predators
