No not legal EPA and DOT will make you post a bond for the car value and you will have a year to make the car emissions and safety ready and have to apply for a release of the bond. Good Luck BUY a 350Z

you would need to get it imported legally in order to drive it, this can require a lot of form filling and potentially $£$£ depending on how well the car is doing.

If the car is solid it will just need a bit of conversion in order to pass its import tests - however this whole process is not cheap and It might not be cost effective.

Also insurance will be high on a gtr (insurance group fo 15+ depending on exact model)

In California I have seen several skylines but I dont know if they are legal. I dont see any reason why they wouldnt be, but there could be minor adjustments from his model to what is legal here in the states.

as far as I know now, the company MOTOREX was buying them and converting them to US specs, was shut down. I have heard that now you can't ship the R34 model anymore, but R33 & R32 are fine, but will need extensive modification which means $$$$$$.
I would advise u to look in your area for a skyline that is already legal to drive. that way you can skip that headache.

happy boosting!

A few sites that may help,as said above try searching asking other US owners on the skylineowners.com forum there are a good few US owners on there. It seems the limit of mods to be legal alters from state to state. So it may be worth finding out which mods need to be done where you live before you spend to much money.
