the way I always look at things is...what the worst that can happen? I dont get my license? the world will not end I will just try again. I know this is a real problem for you but if I go into things and just thinking that this is not a critical life altering moment and it will eventually happen, I dont feel any pressure anymore. good luck to you. ps...it took me three times to get my license (at age 21) nad I took driving school...all because of nerves. You have to be in contol. the moment you let nerves take over, they win. The best thing to do if you have a rude tester is be as nice as possible to them Just like with any other rude person), yo never know what they are going through at the moment, maybe their wife left them or their child is sick and they would really rather be home with them. look at it fom all points of view. You will always lose of you are confrontational with somone already in a bad mood. Be yourself, not too kissy, they will pick up on that quick because i am sure it happens all the time. good luck again!

That is really a miss conception about Examiners in general. Just because we are quiet doesn't mean we are rude. We as examiners have a lot to do. We have to evaluate you and what you are or are not doing. We also have to make sure you get back to the exam station safely. There are hundreds of rules and laws we have to evaluate you on. It is not just to see if you can parallel park but to also see if you use common sense and maybe fix an error before it is too late. We remain quiet as to not disturb your train of thought or to distract you while you are driving/testing.
If you are certain that an examiner is rude ask the supervisor for someone else or see if the supervisor will take you on the route.
Remember.. Use good judgment. If something feels wrong correct it.

Don't concentrate on the tester, concentrate on driving. Imagine that the tester is you mom or dad, or whoever taught you to drive. You might want to do a few practice laps around the block before you go in so you feel confident when you do the actual test. Remember to breathe and take your time. If you are confused about what the tester wants you to do, ask.
Good luck, it's a big step!

If you get a rude tester, ignore the rudeness as best you can.
My best way of calming myself, whenever it comes to exams, tests etc. is to have a look around: seriously, look at all those people you know who passed their final exams and are total dorks, who passed their driving test and cannot drive, who make it through auditions without having real talent.
If they can do it, you can. ;)
Eat well, sleep well, breathe. Try to stay calm, focus - and don´t work yourself up so much. Easy to say, I know - but you have done the test before, so hey! You know what you´re up for, you know what went wrong in your first attempt and I´m sure you worked on that and improved.
Good luck, "just do it!"
=)

In these type situations it is almost impossible not to be nervous. Instead of focusing on your fears prepare yourself for taking control of the situation.
You have reveal fear by you query of handling a rude tester. Taking control of the situation is not reacting to what you perceive as a negative vibe but acting to demonstrate your confidence and knowledge. For instance: The tester issue a command in a way that causes you get nervous. your response should not be to feel insulted and pity yourself having that particular tester. Instead you want to respond in positive and confident manner-"Oh, I can do that; it's a piece of cake!
Of course nothing builds confidence more than knowledge. Make sure you are truly ready for your test.

There is not rude tester on the road , he only want U to look more to him. Reminder do not drive looking at yr steerling.
Just look straight and look at both side of the mirror when starting yr car.
When making a turn tilt yr head slightly looking out for incoming cars.

there isn't really alot you can do but relax.
Just give your self some confidence. Try sitting in a car and imagining what it is going to be like if the driver was there, but think positively about it.
You never know who you will get, but that should not affect your driving
good luck!
PS DRIVE SAFE!

Tomorrow is the day... So just be confident and trust yourself on what you can do. Have a complete rest and wake up early in the morning. Don't drink millk or eat eggs for breakfast for it may drown your nerves to acidity. And don't forget to ask God for guidance. GOod luck! You can do it! Think positive!

Relax, take a deep breath.... several times. THink of peaceful things... brooks, beaches...
Tell yourself SLOWLY over and over that you're calming down, and relaxing...
It works for me!
If you have a rude tester, just think of testers in the movies... Being rude and mean is part of their job description! ;)
