someone i know said that it is located next to the air filter.. but i dont know where that is either... the problem is that i have a 86' jimmy van and the gas pedal sticks... is the carbeurator even the problem?..

93 Roadmaster Estate Wagon, 70,000 miles. LT1 350

New Cap, Thermostat, and full on coolant. Fan kicks on, not loose or bad fan clutch. No white smoke.

Started on a long trip from STL, MO to CA.

Mostly happens when starting from cold. Will go into Red Zone and then before I can pull over or count to 10-20 it will fall back down to normal range. However on a long drive it will sometimes do it while driving, could be up hill or down, so load or air flow doesn't seem to be the problem.

Will not heat up at idle, but at cruise RPM of about 1800RPM.

Noticed recently that the oil pressure indicates high oil pressure early on and changes to normal with the temp gauge.

Found a posting about the exact same problem for this year, but no response. Anyone else know of this and can help?

Hello,
I have a 1990 Mazada MX-6 2.2 SOHC with a man trans. Recently the time belt went ( at a low speed under 20mph ) I recently replaced the belt. I am a fairly decent mech when it comes to chev ford ect.. but mazada's have always intimidated me. I have the Cam at the #1 position with the arrow on the timing mark imprinted into the valve cover body. I have the Crank Timing mark 3 little marks past the " T " symbol ( i am guessing TDC ) and it is on the compression stroke near as i can figure. Tightend the tensioner and check for slack in belt. The motor started but died almost immediatly. i adjusted the distributer a few degree's either way and it would start rev somewhat high ( 2k maybe 2500 ) then fall and die. I know Nissan's can be touchy what am i doing wrong? All input is appreciated.

I want to get a used 08 honda accord in november, and my dad said that he knows good auctions that sells slightly messed up cars for a cheaper price

(my dad got a 03 mercdes benz for only 12k

only thing that needed to be fixed was the oil)

so my dad knows what hes doing at these auctions

cuz i don't have a car. in movies/tv you always see kids driving their parents car during driver's ed. i don't have a car and neither do my parents. also...i live in a different city than my parents

About 2 weeks after I got my first car I got a $20 parking ticket in another state and forgot to pay it when I got home. My car was brand new with no tags so the ticket just had the vin number on it.
