The only thing I can tell you from personal experience:
Get the BMW 335.
My husband and I have been owners of 3 BMW over the past 8 years and very pleased with the overall experience. The cars never gave any trouble. One of them was a 2001 330 CI, which I must tell you is my favorite car ever. I can only imagine that the car is even much better now, with that powerful engine.
I respect the other brand and all and I am sure the respectived owners could tell you positive input.
But BMW is BMW and besides superb handling and technical profficiency, it is so attractive and an authentic status symbol, don't you think
anyway have fun shopping and good luck

I have never driven or been in an Infiniti. Where I live the nearest dealership is 100 miles away, so it was never a consideration for me. I have to admit to liking the look of them, and cannot ignore the rave reviews from Consumer Reports. But ultimately I can't see myself choosing one over the BMW.
The Lexus IS350 is crap. Just read any of the reviews. I've never driven the IS350, but have driven the IS250. This car is so crap it doesn't have challenge the Acura TL. In fact against the IS250 I'd rather have a loaded Nissan Altima.
Obviously the IS350 is more powerful, but again all the reviews trash it.
The BMW is in a class of its own. It is a true drivers car. Now some of the technology may be less obvious than the in your face Japanese cars, but it's still there, and very good.
Even though I was a die hard Japanese car fan, I would pick the BMW every time. The 335i Coupe is a sweet looking, fast and beautiful car. The driver's experience is the benchmark by which other cars in the class are judged.
I only have a lowly 328i. But I would not swap it for the Lexus or Infiniti you asked about.

Car mags will always choose a BMW over Lexus as well as almost any other luxury automaker. Car mags focus more on the raw performance of the vehicle rather than normal attributes that day to day drivers really need in a car. So if you spend a lot of time driving on racetracks get the 335i. It drives better than the Lexus if your going to push your car to the limit on a daily basis. If your like the rest of us you will appreciate how much more refined, comfortable, and luxurious the Lexus is especially on congested city streets and freeways.

I'm leaving the G37 out of it , I just don't care for it and all the horsepower it brags about is still slower than a stock 335i. I would obviously test drive the lex and bimmer and see how it feels. But I'm pretty confident the 335i will impress you and you will enjoy driving it. Lexus is nice and probably faster stock , but it has no "soul" it just doesn't feel enjoyable to drive , if I was 40 or older then maybe I would enjoy the comfort/luxury more .I say stock, because the twin turbo engine in the 335 takes to modifications extremely well and doesnt take too much to add another 50h.p and the 335i does come 4 door if you want apples to apples comparison

I own a Bmw 335i coupe but i can say price is higher than others but, i think it is worthet. I use to have a lexus Gs 350 but, it was very great experience of lexus but you don't feel speacial in a Lexus. I think G37 Is a great car but it is not the same when you own it, Like in a car show, movie or, like your friends it is just not a magnificent car. You Should check out the c-class mercedes Benz.
I recommend The BMW 335i Coupe or the C-class Mercedes Benz

I would prefer the Beemers and Lexus, but if only one i can get, i'll take the BMW 335i Coupe. I think BMW still has its charisma in automotives industry, The double kidney grille is unbeatable, altough the Lexus has its potential to breakthrough the rivalry. But still, BMW is the winner for this time.

Colin has the basic Idea, the only car i would add to your comparison is the New Audi S5. it is basically a coupe version of the S4. I would put this car up with the 335I (Audi and BMW are defiantly the top competitors in the passionate enthusiast category there are few other rivals that spark as much controversy)
